In 2002 the plastics industry in Germany took an innovative initiative:

 
  • Companies and associations of plastics manufacturers, converters and machinery builders founded tecpol as an expert platform for eco-efficient plastics recycling and recovery. The motivation behind this was the persuasion that plastics waste will find its markets as a resource and that likewise environmentally and economically beneficial solutions are possible.


Today this acumen of the tecpol founders is confirmed:

 
  • Plastics recycling and recovery has reached the market and contributes to resource efficiency, climate protection, and sustainability at large.
  • The specific know-how, the experiences and the networks of tecpol set the basis for the support which we today offer to companies, associations and other groups in the area of plastics recycling and recovery.
